Equipment

  • Air Fryer (I use a Cosori 5.8Qt)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings + drumettes, separated (no tips)

Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (not the low sodium kind)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar (regular vinegar also works)
  • 2 Tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 1 red chili pepper (fresh) (jalapeno also works or leave it out if you don't eat spicy)

Instructions

  • Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add chicken wings. Using your hands, mix well. Cover and marinate for 8 hours or overnight in the fridge.

Air Fryer Instructions:

  • Preheat Air Fryer. Lightly brush the bottom of the basket with oil.
  • Add half the chicken wings in one layer, separated slightly from each other. Roast at 380F for 12 minutes total, flipping wings about halfway through. When the first batch is finished, transfer to a serving plate and cover loosely with foil to keep warm. Repeat with the second half of the chicken wings.
